QU’s recent graduates look forward to impressive careers in everything from pro basketball to clinical psychology. In fact, according to a recent survey, nearly 80 percent of graduates of QU’s undergraduate programs are employed, and nearly 40 percent are involved in graduate education, within six months of leaving QU.

Here’s a glimpse of some of our recent grads:

Marilyn Aiello Rowland ’03, BS financial management, is a senior research analyst of U.S. equities at Watson Wyatt Worldwide in Stamford, Conn. She works on a team of six, analyzing institutional portfolio managers to make sure they are doing their jobs and have sound investment philosophies.

Maeve Byrne '04, BA mass communications, is a promotions producer at WHDH, Channel 7 News in Boston. She writes and produces teases for the newscast, and investigates new and creative ways to entice viewers to watch the news.

 

 

Joseph Capalbo '08, BS economics, is a sixth grade math teacher at the Leadership and Community Service Academy in the South Bronx, N.Y. He joined Teach for America after graduation, which trained him and placed him in the job.

 

Mark Seeley '08, BS marketing, is a marketing associate at the theater marketing firm Art Meets Commerce in New York City, where he uses social networking sites, blogs and other Web sites to promote Broadway shows.
