Your Quinnipiac University network username and password give access to the University's network and related services (e.g., Internet access, filespace, e-mail, Blackboard, WebAdvisor, QCard account). Your username remains unchanged through your career at Quinnipiac University, but you may change your password at any time. To change your password, you will need your Quinnipiac University identification number, which appears on official correspondence sent to you from the Registrar's Office and also below your name on your QCard, the card with your picture issued to you by the QCard Office.
The security of your password is important. Please use these guidelines:
Password Do's and Don'ts Do create a strong password. · Use at least 8 characters. · Include letters, numbers, and special characters such as @, #, *, $. · Use UPPER and lower case letters. Do change your password routinely, at least every 90 days. Don't use a dictionary word for a password. For example, instead of "sunshine" use something like "Sun$h1n3." Don't share your password with anyone.
