| (3 cr.) This first-semester interdisciplinary seminar
introduces students to Quinnipiac University by
challenging them to locate themselves as
individuals who can read, reason, speak and write
critically about their academic and civic
responsibilities as engaged members of their new
learning community. Students consider fundamental
questions of identity and community, and the
interplay of individual rights and group
responsibilities. QU 101 also lays the groundwork
for considering how students can extend their
roles and responsibilities as members of the
Quinnipiac University community to the national
and global perspectives they will consider in QU
201 and QU 301.
