| (3 cr.) This course is the capstone for students preparing
for a career in public relations. Students develop
the mindset of a strategic communicator through
case analyses and problem-solving exercises.
Attention is focused on the public relations
planning process. Student teams develop strategic
public relations plans for actual clients.
Students bring numerous skills and proficiencies
to bear on a real-life public relations problem.
Students are expected to demonstrate oral and
written communication skills as well as
proficiencies in critical thinking, reasoning,
creative thinking and quantitative reasoning.
