|(3 cr.) This course presents an intensive study of the
development of constitutional law through the
analysis of significant Supreme Court decisions.
Topics covered include: the judicial process and
the Supreme Court; Federalism, the states and the
division of powers; the basis of national power,
taxation, commerce and sovereignty; the
separation of powers; the Judiciary, Congress and
the Presidency; inter-state relations and
national supremacy; the electorate; citizenship
and the right to vote.
