| (3 cr.) This course is an inquiry into the institutional structures, social values and philosophical foundations of education. Teacher and student reflections focus on issues pertaining to the teaching-learning process, including freedom/authority/discipline; cultural diversity; multiplicity of learning modes; mind-body integration; community; alienation/violence; sexism/racism/elitism; and teacher/student roles.
