| (3 cr.) This course examines the legislative,
administrative, and judicial responses to
environmental problems. We primarily focus on the
major federal environmental statutes, including
the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the
National Environmental Policy Act, and protections
for endangered species and wilderness. We will
also evaluate common law remedies, state
environmental protections, and major international
environmental issues, including climate change.
