MG 211 - Operations Management
 
(3 cr.) This course provides an introduction to the concepts and processes underlying operations management. The course emphasizes how quantitative models and methods can be used to enhance the decision-making process. Operations managers transform human, physical and technical resources into goods and services. Topics include operations systems design, capacity planning, job scheduling, inventory control, project planning, facilities location and layout, total quality management, and forecasting.
