Jennifer Bouchard is an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University where she teaches Writing Interactive Media. She also works as a Writing Specialist for Cigna, where she is responsible for editing correspondence and leading web-based seminars on professional writing. She received her MFA in creative writing from Western Connecticut State University and a Master of Education in English from Framingham State University. Her essays about gardening and travel have appeared in the Christian Science Monitor and the collection Press Pause Moments: Essays About Life Transitions by Women Writers. She has contributed literary analyses and articles on education to EBSCO Publishing’s online database EBSCOHost. She taught English and Media Literacy at the secondary level for ten years. She is a mother of two beautiful daughters, Sophie (4) and Stella (1). Being a mother of an infant and a preschooler has given her a wealth of new writing material in addition to a few gray hairs and incredible upper body strength.
