About
JOHN MACLEOD GOURLIE ( BA Yale University; MA, PhD New York University) is a Professor of Mass Communications at Quinnipiac University. His scholarly interests include Film, Popular Culture, History of the Media, and Ecology. Most recent of his publications are two essays in Sam Peckinpah???s West. He regularly presents papers at the Western Literary Association and the Popular Culture Association meetings. He is a founding member of the initial Mass Communications major that has since become the School of Communications at Quinnipiac.
