Professor Greg Garvey first joined Quinnipiac University in 1999 for a two-year appointment as Visiting Fellow in the Arts in the Department Fine Arts, Languages and Philosophy and developed the proposal for the Interactive Digital Design program. In 2001 he joined the Department of Computer Science and Interactive Digital Design as a full-time faculty member. In 2011 he developed a proposal for a new major in game design and now serves as the Director of Game Design & Development and also co-chairs the Committee for Service and Service Learning.
