EN 351 - Studies in Rhetoric and Writing
 
(3 cr.) This is an advanced course in the theory and practice of writing. The class explores the historical evolution of a rhetorical tradition or of a theoretical practice. Topics include classical rhetoric or modern theoretical practice and rhetoric. Emphasis is not only on theory, but on the sustained examination and practice of student writing guided by the theoretical or practical boundaries of the course. Prerequisite: one course from EN level 200; Every Other Year, Fall
