EN 382 - James Joyce
 
(3 cr.) This course presents an intensive study of three of Joyce's major fictions: Dubliners, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and Ulysses. Emphasis is on close reading of the texts to examine structure, language, allusion, narrative point of view and themes. Secondary materials provide additional theoretical and critical perspectives. Prerequisite: one course from EN level 200; Every Year, Fall
