PL 238 - Philosophies of the Future
 
(3 cr.) This course explores some of the more significant types of thinking about the near future and the methods involved. The focus is on the assumptions that arise from the various theories and methods about, and implications for, such key philosophical concepts as human nature, the processes of history or the concept of the good society. Students develop and critically examine their own thinking about the future. Prerequisite: PL 101 or QU 101; Every Third Year, Fall
