LAWS 401 - Law, Language & Ethics
 
(3 cr.) This course involves a study of the decision dilemmas faced by lawyers, and the search for and soundness of the authority used to attempt solutions to the dilemmas. The dilemmas are caused by the circumstances of choice in relation to role, rule, and reason. Authority is sought in perception concepts, facts, issues, and language. The course cuts through the compartments of other law courses and uses other disciplines to illuminate the study and understanding of law and lawyering. Every Year, All
