EN 312 - Autobiography
 
(3 cr.) The literary form and history of autobiography are considered, from St. Augustine's Confessions to Rousseau, Wordsworth, and selected contemporary authors (e.g., Russell Baker, Claude Brown, Maxine Hong Kingston, etc.). Attention is paid to cultural and psychological changes in self-narrative. Prerequisite: one course from EN level 200; Every Other Year, Spring
