PT 301 - Physical Therapy Process II
 
(3 cr.) This course continues to develop basic physical therapy skills, with a focus on the test and measures applied by physical therapists in the evaluation and assessment of patients. Goniometry and manual muscle testing for the spine and extremities are covered in depth, as are stretching and therapeutic exercise. Students learn about The Guide to Physical Therapist Practice. The course also includes units covering the tests and measures used to analyze specific patient problems including gait, pain, posture, skin and chest. Laboratory component.
