CSC 220 - Introduction to the Dynamic Web
 
(3 cr.) The dynamic web consists of web pages that do not formally exist on a computer somewhere. Instead, they are built and provided immediately to viewers when they are requested by a web browser. Examples include shopping carts, inventory systems and even welcome pages from online retailers such as Amazon. In this course, students are introduced to the process of becoming web-based producers of dynamic content. The course covers the importance of, and technology behind, dynamic web pages. Projects include both research into dynamic web pages, and the development of basic dynamic web pages. Prerequisite: CSC 101 or IDD 161; As Needed, All
