BIO 350 - Cardiovascular Physiology
 
(3 cr.) The physiology of the mammalian heart is studied in detail. The course examines electrophysiology of the heart, structure and function, cardiac cycle, hemodynamics, capillary dynamics, cardiovascular reflexes, cardiac output and venous return. Atherosclerosis, hypertension and circulatory shock also are discussed. Prerequisite: BIO 211, BIO 212; Every Other Year, Fall
