BMS 162 - (UC) Human Health
 
(3 cr.) This course, which is designed for non-science majors, describes human disease from a biological viewpoint, and presents human health concerns and issues for discussion. Historical and sociological perspectives on human disease as well as the scientific investigation of disease processes are included. The role of molecular biology and biotechnology in approaching human disease also is discussed. Students may not earn UC credit for both BMS 118 and BMS 162. Every Year, Fall and Spring
