|(1 cr.) This course offers practical training in a
communications-related occupation. Students
complete a minimum of 40 hours of supervised field
work (paid or unpaid) in an employment setting.
The 1-credit course also involves career
development research and reflection. This course
may be taken up to three times (as designated by
the subsequent COM 302 and COM 303) but must be
approved by the assistant dean of career
development in accordance with school policies.
Sophomore status required. This course is graded
on a pass/fail basis.
