DR 380 - (UC) Theater Administration
 
(3 cr.) Students explore the economic and managerial aspects of American theater as they apply to the nonprofit professional theater. At the completion of the course, students are able to create a mission statement and marketing plan, and have a general understanding of budgeting reports, unions, laws and the roles of the government and the public in an arts organization. The Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven functions as a laboratory for student learning in this course, which is taught by a Long Wharf professional staff member. Prerequisite: DR 101; As Needed
