NUR 533 - Primary Care Practicum I
 
(3 cr.) This course integrates the principles of primary care nursing (NU 532) and includes a mentored practicum with a clinical seminar. Students apply newly acquired advanced health assessment skills and use critical thinking to provide health promotion and care for common health problems across the adult lifespan. Appropriate clinical documentation, case presentation and use of web-based clinical resources are emphasized. Intended for students in the master's level adult-gerontology and family nurse practitioner tracks. Prerequisite: NUR 520, BMS 518; Every Year, Spring
