NUR 500 - Biostatistics
(1 cr.) This biostatistics course is an introduction to probability models and statistical tests currently used in the biological and health sciences. The course covers the application of statistical methodology to data collection, reduction and analysis. Students learn about sampling methods and using valid sampling. An emphasis is placed on inferential statistics, which includes estimation and confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing of means, variances and proportions. Every Year, Fall Online
