PT 685 - Physical Therapy Research Seminar (hy)
 
(2 cr.) This course provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to interpret the results and appraise the quality of various types of primary (intervention, prognosis, and diagnosis studies) and secondary (systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines) research. Interpretation of study results of self-report outcome measure studies, including reliability, validity, and responsiveness to change, and background information on hypothesis testing, measurement principles, research design, and inferential statistics for tests of relationships and differences are covered. Learning experiences include completion of online tutorials and assignments, and participation in student lead small group discussions of current research. Prerequisites: All previously sequenced physical therapy course work and successful completion of MA 275. Every Year, Fall
