Minor in Environmental Science
The environmental science minor is intended for students majoring in one of the sciences at Quinnipiac
University who may be planning a career in the environmental field. The purpose of the environmental science minor is to provide students with an opportunity to study ecosystems and understand environmental issues and the impact of human activity on those systems. Students who complete this minor are well prepared for graduate work or entry-level jobs working with environmental consulting firms, analytical laboratories, government agencies, or environmental advocacy or educational groups.

Curriculum + Requirements
The program consists of a minimum of 20 credits of biology with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. A minimum grade of C- must be achieved in all courses for the minor, distributed between 12 credits of required courses and eight credits of elective courses consistent with the following specifications:
