Frederick Staudmyer is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Communications at Quinnipiac University. He received his BA from New York University and his MFA in Film from Columbia University with a concentration in screenwriting. He went on to work as a story analyst for Walt Disney Studios in Los Angeles, where he analyzed screenplays and gave development notes to the studio executives. He has also worked on two Nickelodeon shows and written pilots for Hollywood production companies. His short films have screened and won awards at numerous festivals around the globe including: The Friars Club Comedy Film Festival, LA Comedy Shorts, and The Cannes International Film Festival.
