It was an honor to be asked to teach journalism at Quinnipiac University in the fall semester of 2013. I started in the journalism field at age 18 and have worked nearly every job in the industry from coffee fetcher, to fact checker, to investigative researcher. I was laid off from print during the 2008 economic recession and reinvented myself in new online media shortly after. Participating in the change and growth of the industry helps me offer unique perspectives in the classroom. I am a mom and a wife and happily reside on the Connecticut shoreline. I believe in using integrity in everything you do.
