Brian L. Salerno, MS is a Part-Time Faculty member in Quinnipiac University's School of Communications teaching primarily in the Interactive Media graduate program. Prof. Salerno is the Director Online Learning & Assessment and a Full-Time Faculty member in the Division of Graduate Professional Studies at Brandeis University. Previously, Prof. Salerno worked as Director of Online Programming at Hesser College where he lead the development (including extensive video and interactive media production) for online courses and programs. Brian has also taught courses in communications, video production, and filmmaking at Manchester Community College in Manchester, CT. An area of concentration and research for Brian is the use and integration of social media, video, and web 2.0 for political and non-profit organizations as well as best practices for online teaching and learning. In addition to his full-time work and part-time teaching, Brian has worked as a freelance video/multimedia producer, specializing in web-based video/audio production, web design, and social media marketing for non-profit organizations, political organizations, and small business clients. Brian has also participated in the production of numerous independent film projects. Brian earned his Masters of Science in E-Media and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus in Media Production from Quinnipiac University.
