Jim Abrams has served as a Judge of the Connecticut Superior Court since 2007. He earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors from UConn Law School and a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Trinity College. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was an attorney in private practice. He also served ten years as a State Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly and was Corporation Counsel for the City of Meriden. He is a member of NEASC's Commission on American and International Schools Abroad and was recently elected President of the Connecticut Judges Association.
