Vrinda Saxena works as an IT Project Manager for a HealthCare Insurance company. – Infrastructure and Application enhancements: Manage and maintain the SOW, Charter, Scope, Costs, Resources, Change Requests and Schedules – Technology: Server install and upgrades for UCS, VBlock, VMware, J2EE, WebSphere Portal, MQ, ETL, Reporting, Oracle DB upgrade and migration – Waterfall SDLC: Coordination with Offshore and Onsite rapid deployment teams in the design, construction, testing, quality and maintenance Prior to this she worked at the Yale New Haven Health System as a Project Manager for Clinical and Web-based Department of Defense contracts. In that role she provided assistance for the planning, budgeting, execution and monitoring of all programmatic activities in civilian and military healthcare delivery settings. Vrinda has also served as a Web Education Specialist monitoring and facilitating progress across multiple Web development team members. She has developed and designaed interactive online courses using Web 2.0 technologies to support on-demand adult learning. Vrinda has a BS in Liberal Arts and Science from SNDT University, Mumbai, India and an MS in Interactive Communications from Quinnipiac University (QU), Hamden, CT. She is DMAIC 6-Sigma certified and is currently studying for an MBA–Healthcare Mgt at QU.
