| (3 cr.) This course helps students understand that
teaching is a social enterprise laden with moral
responsibility and that, as teachers, they must be
willing to act as agents for social justice in
their classrooms and in their schools. This course
helps students acquire the dispositions, cultural
knowledge and competencies to adapt their
curriculum and instructional skills for culturally
responsive classroom practice. Admission to the
MAT program or permission of program director is
required.
