Definitions
:

Employment Rates - Percentage of graduates who were employed as physical therapists within 6 months of passing the national board examination.

Ultimate Pass Rate - Passing rate of graduates who may not have passed the national board examination on the first attempt but who subsequently passed the examination.

Graduation Rate - Calculated by determining the number of third year students in the 6.5 year DPT freshman entry physical therapy program who went on to graduate from the physical therapy program. It includes students who voluntarily transferred from the program to other majors as well as students who did not meet the academic standards of the department.

Accreditation:
Effective Nov. 12, 2014, the physical therapy program at Quinnipiac University has been placed on probation by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314; telephone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org; website: www.capteonline.org. Probation is an accredited status; however, probation signals that the program's accreditation is in jeopardy if the issues identified by CAPTE are not resolved in a timely manner.
