Technology Resources

Technology in courts, corporations and private practice has profoundly changed the legal profession. As a result, the Quinnipiac University School of Law integrates technology in many aspects of the law school experience.

You'll find wireless computer access in all classrooms and study areas. We use sophisticated computer systems in classes, research and communication among students and faculty.

Computer workstations and ports are conveniently placed throughout the School of Law Center. Students are assigned e-mail addresses and virtual storage space as soon as they arrive on campus. E-mail is used for posting assignments from professors and messages from deans and faculty. Law students may register for courses and receive their grades online, and in some courses they may submit papers electronically.

In the Law Clinic, offices are equipped with up-to-date computer workstations complete with law practice software, e-mail and online research services. Television feeds from commercial and law school sources are featured on the conference room monitor. Interview rooms offer videotaping facilities with a local monitoring facility in the conference room. Students frequently use taping facilities after clinic hours for courses and competitions in interviewing and counseling.
