This year-long, first-course includes an examination of the Adversary System and an introduction to claims and remedies; selection of the proper court; jurisdiction and venue; Res Judicata; collateral estoppel; joinder of claims and parties; pleading; disposition without full trial; discovery; jury and non-jury trials; post-trial motions; and review of the disposition.
