About
Gail Sara Stern joined the School of Law faculty in 1994. She teaches courses in legal writing and animal law. She is the director of academic support and the adviser to three student organizations: the Animal Law Society, the Association for Non-traditional Law Students, and the Health Law Journal. Her research focuses on animal law. She is a member of the Legal Writing Institute, the animal ethics working group at the Yale Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics, and the Animal Law Committee of the Association of American Law Schools. Before coming to the School of Law, she worked as an attorney and, before that, as a television director. Her personal interests include music, the Red Sox, orchids, and caring for her two cats, Harry and Zuzu.
