About
Mark Schroeder joined the School of Law faculty in 1994. He teaches courses in legal skills, writing and research, law and literature, and theories of punishment. His emphasis is on class work that involves legal reasoning, research, and writing. He enjoys researching legal pedagogical issues and new curriculum topics. He is an active contributor to the Legal Writing Institute, a national professional organization, and has presented and moderated at various conferences, including the New England Writing Consortium. He practiced law for a number of years in Connecticut and taught at the University of Connecticut before coming to the School of Law.
