Stanton D. Krauss joined the School of Law faculty in 1990. He teaches courses in constitutional law, criminal procedure, and torts. His research interests include American legal history, the Bill of Rights and criminal procedure. He published an article on the Dred Scott case in 2004 and another on the original understanding of the Seventh Amendment right to a jury trial in 1999. He was a Bigelow Teaching Fellow & Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago Law School and taught at Washington University Law School and the University of San Diego Law School. He enjoys playing guitar and listening to the Grateful Dead and the blues. He is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and White Sox.
