About
Joseph Hogan joined the School of Law faculty in 1992. He teaches courses in legal skills, and his professional focus is on developing research challenges and writing exercises for first-year law students. He has been the chair of the School of Law’s Awards Committee for the past 10 years, and he is active in the Moot Court Honor Society. Previously he was a law clerk in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He also taught legal methods at Widener University’s Delaware campus and started the Legal Methods Program on Widener’s Harrisburg campus. His personal interests include dogs—he owns two Pembroke Welsh Corgis—travel, calligraphy, and reading, especially history with an emphasis on the American Civil War.
