About
Toni Robinson joined the School of Law faculty in 1982. Before that, she worked as a financial analyst and tax attorney and served as a liaison for the experts who drafted a model tax treaty for the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. She teaches courses in federal income tax, individual income tax, business planning, tax research, tax policy, law and gender, and civil procedure. Director of the School of Law’s tax concentration and co-director of the Tax Clinic, her areas of interest include tax credits and tax treatment of same-sex couples. She has served as faculty adviser to groups including the Women’s Law Society, the Moot Court Honor Society, the Black Law Student Association, the Tax Law Society, and the Democratic Law Society. She helped students found the Public Interest Law Project and has remained active in it. Her personal interests include horses, sailing, art, and antiques.
