Professor Karen Myrick is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and dually certified as both a Family and Adult Nurse Practitioner. Professor Myrick enjoys a balance between excellent teaching, current clinical practice and nursing research. Her research is interdisciplinary, involving Athletic Trainers, Orthopedic Surgeons, Radiologists, Physical and Occupational Therapists and Athlete's. She has a strong back ground in Maternal/Child Nursing, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and Emergency/Urgent Care.
