I am a Professor of Nursing at Quinnipiac University and teach across the undergraduate and doctoral programs. My clinical interests center on women's health care and I work as a family nurse practitioner. My research interests center on the clinical applications of phenomenology and the uses of the humanities, especially poetry, as ways of teaching nursing students. I am a curriculum consultant with the Veteran’s Administration in their Center for Excellence grant with a focus on inter-professional education.
