The School of Nursing offers a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SANE/SAFE) program for health care professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, advanced practice registered nurses, registered nurses, nurse midwives, physician assistants as well as third-year medical students and PA students who have completed the clinical residency.This seven-week online program, which is accredited by the Connecticut Nurses Association, teaches health care professionals how to respond to victims of interpersonal violence. Prospective students apply to the program through QU Online Admissions.
