Problem-Based Learning

Problem-based learning is an approach that uses complex real-world problems as a vehicle for student collaboration and problem solving.

Students work in groups of six to eight to identify hypotheses, learning issues and resources in order to create solutions.

Problem-based instruction helps students learn to think critically in order to analyze and solve problems, find and evaluate resources, practice communication skills (written and spoken) and apply previously acquired knowledge and skills to real-life situations.
