FIN 420 - Commercial Bank Management
 
(3 cr.) This course examines the management of banks and other depository institutions in the current financial environment. Emphasis is placed on fundamental processes such as the management of liquidity, credit quality, investment portfolios, funding costs and capital adequacy. Maximizing shareholder value while properly managing the inherent tension that exists between these various processes is carefully described. Prerequisite: FIN 201; Every Year, Fall
