| (3 cr.) This course is a comprehensive review of
theoretical approaches to various dimensions of
health and health conditions used in occupational
therapy practice. Students learn the elements of
many traditional, contemporary and emerging frames
of reference including their basic assumptions;
historical, philosophical and scientific
orientation; domains of concern; views of the
function--dysfunction continuum; postulates of
change; and their application toward the
occupational therapy process including evaluation
and intervention.
