BAN 610 - Statistics and Probability
(3 cr.) This course develops ideas for helping to make decisions based on examination of data. Topics include variability, data display and summary statistics, regression and correlation, probability, probability distributions, sampling, the law of large numbers and the central limit theorem, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
