Dr. Robert L. Engle is professor of international business in the School of Business at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, USA. He specializes in international management and cross-cultural research and teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Prior to joining Quinnipiac University in a full-time capacity in 2002, Dr. Engle held a number of positions in industry including Vice President of Marketing and Sales Operations for the United States and Vice President of Global Sales Force Management for Bayer A.G. Pharmaceutical Division in Leverkusen, Germany. He holds a doctorate in management from Nova Southeastern University, a master in business from Quinnipiac University, a master in education from Towson University, and a baccalaureate in management from the University of Baltimore. He currently has more than 50 academic and professional publications and was recognized as Quinnipiac University’s Faculty Scholar of the Year by the Charter Oak Society in 2009.
