About
Bruce White is a professor of Computer Information Systems. He is very active as a teacher and a scholar. He has received the Quinnipiac University Center of Excellence in Teaching Award and the Association of Information Technology Professionals Educator of the Year award. He is on the certification council of the Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals and is also an ABET program evaluator. In his spare time, Professor White is involved with music - with the Quinnipiac University Pep Band; the Hamden Symphony Orchestra, the Cheshire Symphony Orchestra and others. He also is one of the advisers for Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, the pep band, and the CIS Club

Work Experience
Dr. White has taught at Quinnipiac University since 2000. Prior to that he taught at Dakota State University (and for five years was Dean of the College of Business and Information Systems). He also has worked for Citibank's Credit Card division as a business analyst and for Travelers Insurance as a business analyst.

Community / Practive Activities
Dr. White chaired the ISECON Conference four times. He has been a member of the board of directors of AITP-EDSIG, ICCP, and CCER. He has been recognized as the AITP-EDSIG Information Systems Educator of the Year, and is an AITP-EDSIG Fellow.
