About

I earned my PhD in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Missouri in 2010. I joined the faculty at Quinnipiac in August of the same year. My teaching interests are primarily Statistics in Psychology, Introductory Psychology, and Research Methods. Prior to taking up residence at Quinnipiac, I held a one year Visiting Faculty position at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, during which time I taught Introductory Psychology, Human Sexuality, and Abnormal Psychology. Prior to that, I taught Statistics in Psychology courses at the University of Missouri for several years. As a quantitative psychologist, my research interests focus on statistical models intended for use by psychological researchers. My personal research has primarily focused on structural equation modeling techniques. More specifically, my dissertation work compared and contrasted several modeling techniques for longitudinal cognitive data. I also enjoy consulting with other researchers regarding their statistical models in a variety of substantive topics.
